Our Tech Guru Abbie Richie recently joined AgeTech Connect in Phoenix as part of Arizona Tech Week as a featured speaker, sharing insights from The Smarter Service on technology adoption, digital literacy for older adults, and the importance of collaboration across the AgeTech ecosystem.
At the event, Abbie connected with founders, operators, and innovators working across senior living, healthcare, and aging services to shape the future of aging and technology.
The format struck the right balance between structured introductions and real networking, creating space for meaningful connections. Attendees shared not only what they’re building, but exactly who they’re looking to connect with to move their work forward.
There was also a strong showing from local innovators, including teams like Seniors Rising Homes, one of our community partners, and MiiHealth, reinforcing Phoenix as a growing hub for AgeTech innovation.
The future of aging won’t be built by technology alone, it will be built through partnerships. As innovation accelerates, the focus has to stay on making sure these solutions actually work for the older adults they’re meant to serve.
We’re continuing these conversations at events across the country, connecting with leaders focused on improving tech adoption for older adults. You’ll see us on more stages this year, including Argentum’s SLEC, LeadingAge BOLD, LeadingAge Arizona, LeadingAge Ohio, the What’s Next Longevity Summit, and more.
